Me: Hey Spiderman, would you like some pancakes for breakfast?
Aiden: and sausage!
Me: Okay, pancakes and sausage coming up for Spiderman.
Aiden: Spiderman eats pancakes?
Me: Yup, and sausage.
Aiden: He doesn't eat bugs?
Me: Oh, maybe he does. He is part spider.
Aiden: No, no, Mommy. When he turns into a spider, then he eats bug but when he's a boy he eats pancakes.
Me: Got it.
Adien, you might not know this, but your Daddy was a SPIDERMAN addict from the word GO. Here you are following in his footsteps.
ReplyDeleteYour Daddy had a Spiderman lunch box,
a Spiderman bookbag,
a Spiderman shirt,
a Spiderman hat,
Spiderman gloves,
Spiderman action heros,
Spiderman books,
Spiderman decals,
a Spiderman cape,
Spiderman pencils,
and COMICS.
He had a HUGE comic book collection that he kept for years and years. When he was in college he sold off his whole collection. I think it broke his heart and mine when he made that sacrifice.
I'm glad you are a boy who eats pancakes and sausage. I don't think bugs taste that great, but I could be wrong.
