Adam, Sky, and I all went together today to pick Aiden up from pre-school. Aiden was so excited he must have kissed and hugged each of us three or four times.
He was especially happy to have Sky visit his classroom. He eager showed her around the classroom. He selected only the best toys for her to play with. He offered her books, toys, anything she showed even the slightest interest in. Other kids came over to play with Sky but Aiden kept them at an arms length away from Sky but he was also happy to have their attention too.
Sky was also extremely attentive to Aiden. She paid attention only to him and stayed by his side.
I met with the director of the school and it seems Aiden is going to be progressing to the pre-kindergarten class starting next week. Pre-kindergarten? Makes me a little nervous but okay, we'll try it out.
Aiden is not a baby Mama, he needs to move on and be stimulated. His age and his mental age are two different things.

Can you imagine Aiden strong arming guys away from Sky when she's 16? I hope she'll continue to listen to him and heed his words. He's a might wise big brother.
It's great knowing they are there for each other. You've done something very, very good in raising them. What great adveuntures they'll share together.

Dear Mommy and Daddy, It is your example as Loving parents that treat each other with respect that your children have learned to trust each other with. Wish I could SKY WRITE what great parents you two really are and how I can see the wonderful communication skills that both of your children possess, have come from you. Thank you for being the Wonderful Parents, Husband and Wife and friends that you are. It makes an old lady so glad to know about you!
