Aiden is officially a Tiger Cub Scout today....he joined troop 1170. He joined the troop at the Buzz Aldrin school. With any luck, Mr. Aldrin (also a scout) will visit the troop...he does this every year.
Since he didn't have school today (Columbus Day), I took Aiden to the Boy Scouts shop in my old neighborhood (Annandale/North Springfield) to get his Scouts uniform. Seems a lot of other people had the same idea. The store was packed but it was a fun experience all together.
Aiden learned how to pump gas this morning too. He put gas in Mommy's car. He was very proud of himself. But he insists he'll never need to put gas in his car because his car will run solely on electricity. Oh and he's going to build his on electric car. Love this boy!

I love a guy in uniform, especially a Tiger Cub uniform! This is so exciting and I hope the begining of a long and excciting career in scouting.
