out to dinner with Grandma and Bobba (and their friends)

Aiden and Sky were invited to dinner by my parents and my parent's friends.

Adam and I were all alone for dinner. : )

On second thought, we were all alone for dinner. : (

Right in the middle of dinner Adam and I looked at each other almost simultaneously and remarked how strange the house felt without the kids. I don't know how we got along without them for ten years!

  1. I am glad that you and Adam have those moments to remind you how Special and Precious are the Gifts of your Wonderful Children. It brings many things into prospective really quickly.
It is also such a wonderful event for Aiden and Sky to experience dinner out with the Grandparents in public and no parents. How lucky are ALL FOUR OF YOU or should I say, SIX counting your parents!!

  2. Tell me about how strange it is to go from a table full of 6 at meals to two! THAT is strange. Where does the time go?

It's crazy, crazy, crazy when you are in the day to day trenches of kids and their topsy-turvey world but when you take them out of the picture it is down right dull.

Thats why, even when you are among all the craziness today of family get togethers it is still good to be around each other.

    xxxooo Mom
