Aiden and Sky went to Uncle Caleb's 30th birthday party in their brand new house. OMG, their house is SO nice. Caleb and Jayna could start their an interior decorating business on the side. No joke.
Aiden and Sky shared a very big piece of birthday cake.
Me: Aiden, do you like birthday cake?
Aiden: Yes, it's my favorite. I like to eat birthday cake all the time.
Me: Does Sky like birthday cake?
Aiden: Yeah but she can't eat too much because then, because then, she'll get a tummy ache.
Sky: No, Ai-den! My eat cake!

I wanted to take a picture of the kids with Caleb at the end of the night but this is the best shot that I got....yep, they weren't cooperating at all. I can't really blame them it was 10 pm and about two hours past their bedtime.
Hey Aiden and Sky DO know their limits!! Partying is fun, but when it is bedtime, they are going to let you know it. I can't believe your Uncle Caleb is 30!!!!!! I met him the first time when he was 9 or 10 years old. He has grown up to be a wonderful man and Uncle.

What a great way to celebrate Uncle Caleb's 30th birthday with you two there to help him blow out his candle and help him eat cake. I bet you were all great at that...including Uncle Caleb...he's the Cake King and the most frosting the better.
ReplyDeleteIt's probably hard for you imagine big Uncle Caleb being a little boy your size but he sure was. He was (and still is) very cute with little curls in the back of his head like your Daddy did too. I hope God blesses me and lets me come to YOUR 30th birthday party one day.
Right now I have three children all in their 30's, isn't THAT wonderful?
Whose party is next? Sky's? I can't wait!
