Running out of fun in-door activities, I took Aiden and Sky to Books-A-Million. Aiden and Sky love going there because they have a great childrens' book section, comfortable couches and best of all....a really cool train table. Actually, its the same train table we have at home but somehow, this one is MUCH better.
Today, the store manager brought cookies and juice for the kids...as you might guess, it was the BEST cookies and juice they had ever had too.
While they had fun at Books-A-Million, these rainy days are getting a little boring for the kids. They usually spend the entire weekend outdoors so being cooped up inside all weekend makes them a little frustrated.
Sky was singing "rain, rain, go way, come 'gin some udda day".
How incredibly smart that store manager is to serve juice and cookies to children. It is all those unexpected, generous, thoughtful gestures that not only the children will remember but their parents too. Books-A-Million has my vote, but it has always been my favorite over Barnes & Noble.!!
