Nick the outdoorsman
Aiden, Bobba, and Daddy putting up the new (huge) family tent.
While others worked, Nick was helping himself to Aiden's camelback for a little ice cold water.
I love that face!
Adam putting up Aiden's hammock tent....Aiden was really forward to sleeping in this by himself....that is until the black bear arrived at our camp site.
Perfectly comfy! No bugs, no hard ground, just a gentle sway in the wind.
Nick making himself comfortable in Aunt Natalie's bed.
This tent was perfect until the downpour...then it didn't work out so well.
Sky caught her first fish within three minutes of casting her line. She caught her second fish five minutes later.
Check that out!
Nicolas was the helper...he was busy getting the bait ready.
Check out this guy...
Aiden patiently waited, and wait, and wait....
...and waited some more.
He caugh his first fish (for the day) just before we packed up to go back to our camp site.
And there's Aiden's catch!
When we got back to the campsite, Bobba and Uncle Dullah were wide eyed and excited...a big (size medium build person) had just walk into our camp. Both Bobba and Uncle quickly armed themselves but the black bear just walked off.
Chillin' at the camp site
Adam teaching the kids how to make silver turtles
Mmmmm...mmm ground beef, spices, french onion soup powder, garlic, onions, carrots, potatoes, corn chips, etc...all packed up aluminum foil and placed in the fire.
You've heard of the cookie monster....Nick is the corn chip monster...he loves corn chips.
Waiting out the rain...listening to Skynyrd's Free Bird, enjoying the view of the valley while sippin' on our favorite drinks.
couple o' happy campers
Adam made scrambled egges and biscuits...what more do you need with your coffee?
Foggy morning....just getting out of the tent.
