aiden the trail angel

Aiden Rossi is the newest "Trail Angel".  He made pumpkin muffins and Rice Krispies bars and gave them away to Appalachian Trail hikers in Daleville, VA today.

"Rockfast" on the left is from GA as is his girlfriend, "Bebop."  The found the white pup on Roan Mountain and named him Roan.   Now Roan is walking with him and getting fat compared to the way they found him.  They showed Aiden a video of a huge rattlesnake that crossed their path and the wild ponies on Mt. Rogers.  They hope to get to Maine by Oct. 1.

"Wren" on the left is from Maine so she is literally walking home.  She met "Spiral" on the trail and after their first week they have fallen in love.  He is from Il.  Last night when they were camping on Dragon's Tooth when she saw a owl.  He perched in the tree right about her sleeping bag.  She said it was the coolest thing she's ever seen.  She thinks there are so many wonderful people in the world but the absolute BEST are Trail Angels.  We gave her TWO bags of muffins!
