bringing home the Christmas tree

This morning we went to a Christmas tree farm with some friends to get our tree. It was a perfect day and the farm was beautiful. Honestly, it was nice just to be outside....we don't have much time for that these days! Aiden had a great time. He ran through the trees like he's a cross country runner. When we finally found the perfect tree he helped Adam take the tree down. It was very cute.
Since it was so cold out and since she has an ear infection, we had left Sky home with Kelsey (our nanny). Can't wait 'til next year when Sky can join in the activities!

  1. Aiden I can remember taking your daddy out to look for trees when he was a little boy. He had to look, and look, and look, and look and then he'd say "Maybe this is the one." Just as Babba got down and began to cut your daddy would yell..."Nooooooo." He had found what he thought was a better one, of course it was on the opposite side of the forest of trees we were in.

After we hiked all the way over to his new tree, the first one looked better after all. If it takes you time to decide on a tree, know that you come from a long line decision makers who have to take their time with their choice. Don't rush, the right one is worth the wait.
