Aiden learned to read from the best teacher in the whole world, Ms. Price.

Because he had to go to lessons every day for an hour and then go home to study for another 1/2 in this excellerated week

wild things

hings are getting wild here at Babba Steve's and Nana Beth. A buffalo had a booger up his nose and I'm helping him clean it.

This guy was trying to take a lick of me. Yuck, what slobber!

This guy needed a little TLC!

Concrete Specialties, Inc

Today's job is making 70' of concrete gutters for a car dealership. Aiden is standing in one that is curing.

Aiden's job was to inspect the manholes for cracks or imperfections. This one passed.

As a matter of fact this one is so good I asked Babba Steve to give it to me because it would make a cool fort.

He said if I could lift it I could keep it. I can't so I'll wait for Daddy to come with the van to help me.

This hole is impossible there is no way it can go up the ramp, around the fake palm tree, and in the hole.

sky's 5th birthday dinner

We have a family tradition - the birthday kid gets to pick the restaurant and invite family or friends....Sky picked Cafe Sano, Grandma, Uncle Dullah, and Natalie.

We missed Aiden...he's still visiting Nana Beth and Bobba Steve in Roanoke. Sky wished that Aiden was at dinner with us...what a sweet sister.

He's visiting Nana Beth and Babba Steve. He misses his family and wants to tell them so.

Who doesn't like mail? Aiden is going to be a greeting card designer for sure. This is his first week away from home by himself.

There can never be too many decorations on an envelope.

Aiden Rossi is the newest "Trail Angel". He made pumpkin muffins and Rice Krispies bars and gave them away to Appalachian Trail hikers in Daleville, VA today.

"Rockfast" on the left is from GA as is his girlfriend, "Bebop." The found the white pup on Roan Mountain and named him Roan. Now Roan is walking with him and getting fat compared to the way they found him. They showed Aiden a video of a huge rattlesnake that crossed their path and the wild ponies on Mt. Rogers. They hope to get to Maine by Oct. 1.

"Wren" on the left is from Maine so she is literally walking home. She met "Spiral" on the trail and after their first week they have fallen in love. He is from Il. Last night when they were camping on Dragon's Tooth when she saw a owl. He perched in the tree right about her sleeping bag. She said it was the coolest thing she's ever seen. She thinks there are so many wonderful people in the world but the absolute BEST are Trail Angels. We gave her TWO bags of muffins!
