sky and nicolas out with teresa

Sky running her her own fruit smoothy shop.

If you look closely at the dental impression, you can see that this dinosaur was a meat eater.

I've always found fossil facinating.

Hold on Sky, I just need to finish a text to Mom.

L L P

This is a Limited Liability Partnership (LLP) we cannot be held responsible for what we do...we're tough like that!

Lappert's ice cream!!

Lovin' some Lappert's ice cream right out side of the Food Land in Princevill, Kauai.

baby girl loses her first tooth!

S
Sky lost her first tooth...just two weeks short of her 5th birthday. To her, this is proof that she's a big girl. You see, Aiden's lost teeth, her older classmates have lost teeth, her cousin has lost teeth...but Sky, Sky's been waiting. Patiently. Her tooth has been loose for a few weeks now. Daddy offered to pull it but she didn't have the stomach for it...though she wanted to. She put the tooth under her pillow in her sleeping bag. She was sleeping in the basement guestroom with the rest of us due to the lack of AC upstairs. I watched her check on her tooth about twenty times until she finally fell asleep. The tooth fairy still found her in the basement...she got two Sacagawea dollar coins.

surreal

I'm wearing shades.

It's nearly 2.

I've got my paci.

I'm nearly 2.

My mom wants to sleep.

I don't.

So we organize her closet instead.

At 2.

She made me waffles.

And sausage.

It rocked.

She rocks.

Washed it down with a yogurt smoothy.

That rocked too.

It's 85 degrees in here.

We don't have power.

Going on day 2.

That means no AC.

Generator is running.

Not enough to cool the house.

My Dad says he can't sleep 'cause it's too hot.

His flip flops melted today.

My Mommy put me in my the pack-n-play.

I climbed out.

My Daddy put me in my crib.

I climbed out.

I'm not sleepy.

I'm on island time.

Maybe we should just go back.

It's nearly 3.

In the morning.

Or is it 9?

In  the evening.

I'm so cool with shades.

Or do I mean I'm hot.

It's not the shades.

It's 85 degrees in here.

My dad's in the living room.

Reading.

He can't sleep either.

I walked up to him with my shades on.

He looked like he'd just seen a ghost.

I said "chill!"

He said "but it's too hot to chill!".

"What are you doing with those shades on?" he questioned.

I shrugged.

"Downstairs?" he added.

Mom shrugged.

He said "babies don't walk around with shades on in the middle of the night".

Baby?

I'm nearly 2!

We shrugged.

"Surreal", he sighed.

It's a strange night.

Or is it a strange day?

We'll never know.

Fweak.

short break from swimming

picking up the pieces

the smack heard around the house

Nick,

This morning, just after waking,  Aiden got right in your face and screamed "Moonin!" just to annoy you.  Without hesitation, you shocked Aiden with a serious smack across the face.  Aiden immediately changed his tone and looked upset. Again, without hesitation, you leaned forwards with "kiss, kiss, hug, hug".

It's not right to hit your brother, or anyone for that matter but I have to admit, you do take care of business when you need to...
