studying the human brain

In second grade science, the students are continuing the study of the brain. They have identified the lobes and the function of each. As a very special treat, Dr. Ozdemirli, a father of one of our 2nd grade students, visited the class to talk about the brain and its functions. His discussion with the class complimented what the students are now studying. He also emphasized the use of helmets while playing sports to avoid injury to the brain!
