Roaring Run State Park

Aiden and Adam chasing lizards (blue-tailed skinks) and other small reptiles.

Roaring Run is a BEAUTIFUL hike.

We made our way to the top of the falls.  You really have to watch the kids closely because just one step on a wet stone and you're falling down the falls.  Any surface that is wet is covered in slippery, slippery moss.

The water was ice cold since it comes from a fresh water spring.

I didn't dare swim but but I enjoyed having my feet and legs cool off.

Aiden and Sky, the little dare devils couldn't help but to go in for a swim.

Nana Beth and Nicolas skipped the hike since Nicky was taking his afternoon nap.

Aiden sharing his lizards with his little brother.

  1. These photos totally SELL this place and the beautiful thing is...hardly anyone is every there. It's like your own personal forest of beautiful nature. It is restful, peaceful and tranquil and the icicle water cools every child in a quick minute. I'm so glad it was a perfect, perfect Roaring Run day.

    xxxooo Nana Beth :-)
