Sky was telling me about her day at school while Aiden was practicing. The coach gave Nicolas a basketball and he was happy as a clam...he felt like a big kid.
Nicolas likes to play goalie....uh oh, this is basketball, Nick, not soccer!
Actually Sky had soccer practice indoors just before Aiden's basketball practice. She was not happy that Nicolas and I missed her practice. Next time, Sky girl!

Sky, my darling, I don't know how your little body can contain the HUGE heart you have. You are always thinking, caring and sharing with others. Wanting to kiss the Afghan flag because you love and miss your Bobba is too, too precious. Showing Nicolas around the school and your comforting arm always around him and guiding him will have a lasting bond on him forever.

Aiden, what fun you are going to have learning how to play play basketball. It'll take work and practice and practice and more work but when you love a game, as I bet you will, it's an easy thing to do.
ReplyDeleteYou have been learning so many new and exciting things. Some you will be ok in and others you'll be fabulous and some you just might stink at. But the fun part is playing them all and doing your best.
