Sky scratched Aiden's face pretty badly last week. She wasn't trying to hurt him, she just wanted his undivided attention. Poor Aiden cried but he never retaliated. I felt really bad for him. The scratch was pretty deep and obviously painful. When I asked him why Sky scratched him he said "she wanted me to play with her".
Aiden, I am so proud of you. Sometimes little sisters don't always know how strong they are and hurt you not really meaning to. I know Sky would never hurt you on purpose nor would you hurt her. I see the love between you two. It reminds me of when I was a little girl and had a little brother. I could do anything I wanted to him, but no one else could even look crosseyed at him or I would beat them up. You are such a good boy!!

ReplyDeleteYou are so understanding that Sky is a little girl and doesn't know any better but I'm sure the scratch still hurt. Watch out for those little fingers and if you see them coming run like crazy.
