nick, you should know

You have the coolest sister EVER.  She's into superheroes and let's you share her food.

Your bother adores you and let's you hanging out with him.

Here's Aiden introducing you to the absolute-classic, must-see, coolest-movie-ever - The (original) Karate Kid.

daughters are angels

Always first and the easiest to get ready for school.

She also takes responsibility for her own backpack and lunch box.

Just home from school and helping out with dinner.

playing trains with my little man

He loves having someone to play with him without bothering him (ahmm Aiden, Sky).

He set up one train for me and an exact same train for himself.

He even repositioned my hands so that I held and pulled my train just like him.

Every time my train broke he rush over and fix it for me.

"Moonin, fix."

they rock

I had parent-teacher conferences today. So...how'd it go?
Well, let's just say it was one big ego trip for me.
PROUD! PROUD! PROUD!

a bonus for adam

it's called an oyster crab

He looks like he's ready for a fight!

Having learned that it's a delicacy, Adam was sorry he didn't eat the little guy.

feeding the squirrels

I totally love my tricycle. I like to ride in our driveway, at the playground, in the kitchen, and around the neighborhood.   Thank you Teresa! You knew just what I needed!!

Nick and I were collecting acorns and holly berries to feed the squirrels.

"'quirrel, come here, Moonin have food for you!"

"No be scared, Moonin have food!"

"'quirrrrrrellllll, Moonin have acorn...."

I told him maybe the squirrels were sleeping.

"quirrel, no sleep! Eat!"

"See, see...Moonin, have food."

He made a pile of acorns and holly berries for the squirrels.  He was so proud of his stash of goodies for the squirrels.

He's definitely an outdoors person like the rest of his family.  He could spend hours playing in our front woods or as he calls it "the forest".

daisy scout meeting

Each scout had a job...Sky's job was serving the fruit salad.

Sophia, Paige, and Sky....old friends from pre-kindergarten

Today's Daisy Scout meeting was at Sky's friend Lilia's house.

The lesson they learned today was "responsibility" and "always being truthful".

aiden's work on display at school

This picture was hanging outside Aiden's science class.

He does such nice work.

bird migration - first grade

oh the places you will go, Sky girl!

I ran into Sky's science teacher, Mrs. Hand, at school today.  She told me that "Sky was the only one in the class to complete the experiment correctly".   The teacher told the whole class about Sky's focus and attention to directions.  My girl was glowing with pride...and now so am I.

brothers NEED sisters

How do people make it through life without a sister?

better than a superhero

Sometimes being a brother is even better than being a superhero. - unknown

trick or treat!

The highly anticipated "Rick James Dancing Skeleton" our neighbors have this skeleton out every Halloween and our kids go NUTS for this thing.  The skeleton dances to "Super Freak".

Bags in hand, ready to hit the pavement!
