A picture is worth a thousand words...here's Aiden pestering Sky because she's enjoying her cupcake. He's in a bad mood because he was asked to sit at the table for cake...and of course he'd much rather play than eat. Aiden's choices in life: Cupcakes....toys...cupcakes....toys...cupcakes...TOYS WIN! in Aiden's world.

"Sky, you don't eat that cupcake! Cupcakes are NOT good for you! You want to your teeth to fall out because you ate too much cupcakes? Sky why aren't you answering me?! Sky, you already had a cupcake today (she had a muffin for breakfast). Don't eat that cupcake!"

Sky very patiently ignored every word that came out of Aiden's mouth and enjoyed her cupcake to the fullest.

Aiden was climbing on the rocks and getting as close as possible to the water.


The kids really enjoyed seeing the plans take off overhead.


Sky LOVES the idea of a picnic but for it to be truly a "picnic" you must sit or lay on a blanket. The picnic table just won't do.


Sky and I laid on the blanket under the warm Spring sun.

Sometimes he walks right up to you fully engage in a conversation with you as if you should have been expecting it all along.

Aiden found a tennis ball that he was using to beam at a couple of birds. We didn't mind much at first because we figured he wouldn't be able to hit one until he did..again, and again. I finally had to stop him.

the easter bunny came!

The search for the Easter basket started at 9 am sharp. They started in the backyard and they both started to get a little anxious when they saw no signs of the Easter Bunny.



"I SEE SOMETHING!!!!!" screamed Aiden.


Oh man, that has Sky's name on it!


"I found mine!! It was behind this tree!"


"See, this one has my name on it." - Aiden
