Aiden in computer/technology class

This is actually his "homeroom" - here they are starting the school day with the Pledge of Allegiance.

I tried to snap a picture of him from the window...he caught me!

he prefers macs

Oh boy...one more person to fight over the kitchen computer!

He loves looking at pictures on foosbook.  BTW - he's pretty impressive with his use of a mouse.  He can open/close applications, hit cancel, navigate forward, backward, expand screens, expand images, etc.

This picture was Aiden's idea...let's self identify our sibling order by holding up fingers.

To think I could have 7 more babies...

let's go out for ice cream!

Check out that perfect silhouette of Nicolas!

kids outdoor playdate

It doesn't get any better than this, people!

Though he's the youngest by three years, little Nick did everything the big kids did and enjoyed himself even more!

Jacob and Aiden have been buddies for over four years.

They enjoyed their pizza in 50 degree weather in Fort Rossi -- it was nice to have the kids play outside ALL DAY LONG.  Winter has kept them cooped up for too long!

Sky's friend Saanvi like Nicolas

Trompomania!!!

Hide-n-seek in the front woods

It was really nice that all of the kids played together...no divide between the kindergarteners and first graders or 2 year olds!

I was impressed with the way Aiden and Sky were gracious hosts - sharing with their friends, allowing their friends to try something first, offering their friends drinks and cookies.

sky's first girls scout cookie booth

Lindsey, Sky, Paige, and Jessica...these girls have been together now for over a year and they're very comfortable with each other.

Sky, Paige, and Jessica....they LOVED running the booth.  They took turns with their sales pitches, taking money and giving change, even bagging the cookies for the customers.

Sky's whole Daisy troop -- this was everyone's first time so they had a lot of fun....and A LOT of sales. No one could say no to these little girls.

Aiden came by to support his sister and bought two boxes of cookies.

Sky working her sales technique...

Sky:    Would you like to buys some Girls Scout cookies?

Man:  Uh, should I? Are they good?

Sky:  Yes, they're yummy.

Man:  Well, I don't know if I'll eat them.

Sky:You could buy some for our troops and we'll ship it for you!  Or you could just donate...donations go to our local food bank.

our dedicated nick

There are no short cuts to success....

there's only practice, even when it's not easy, even if it means less play time...

I persevere....and that's how I know I'll succeed.

perhaps electrical engineering

Thank you Aunt Natalie and Uncle Dullah for my electrical engineering set - it's freakin' awesome!!!

His first machine was a voice recorder...it could operate using a switch or motion control.

morning cuddle time

They run into our bed every morning for a little cuddle time...their excuse is "We're cold, we're cold!"
