love these chairs

Because they each have their own, they enjoy sitting together and not having to fight over it.

fun at Kangaroo Jac's

Sky impatiently waiting for her admissions bracelet to get into Kangaroo Jac's.

Sky's first run at Kangaroo Jac's....this only made her want to do this 1000 more times.

A few minutes later, Daddy bounced right over Sky.

Aiden, Sky, and Nora going down the big slide. At first, we all sat down and went down the slide. By the end of the hour, we were jumping and bouncing down the slide while holding hands and piling up on top of each other at the bottom.

today's harvest

Aiden and Sky love to pick vegetables from the garden. From the moment he arrived home from school, he's been begging to show me "all of the really fresh tomatoes".

I used it as an opportunity to try out my new video capability.

The next day I took the tomatoes, cucumbers, and peppers to the office where they were enjoyed by all.

the power of suggestion

You'll see what I mean towards the end of the clip.

fun sunday afternoon

I'm not sure why but our dare devil, wild children just did not get into getting wet. About five seconds after this picture was taken, the water shot up and got Sky right in the face.

Little chocolate face...she preferred my chocolate ice cream to her vanilla ice cream.

I think this was the first time ever Aiden finished an entire ice cream cone. Usually he takes a few licks an then he's done.

The way all Sunday afternoons should be...eating ice cream and chillin' with Mommy, Daddy, and Sky.

the weymer sisters visit oakton & sky's birthday party

Adam and I decided to take all of the Aunts to Meadow Lark Botanical Gardens for a picnic lunch after the tour of Platinum Solutions' Reston office tour. Platinum is celebrating it's 10-year anniversary this September at the botanical gardens.

All the Weymer sisters + Sky stop for a family picture after the picnic lunch at the botanical gardens.

Aunt Kathy and Sky. As soon as Sky gets a drop of food/juice on her shirt she begs for it to be taken off.

Aiden and Sky at the entrance of the garden. Look at the look on Aiden's face. It says, she is my sister and you can't have her.

Nana Beth and Aiden...they are very good together. Nana Beth loves to tell stories and Aiden LOVES to hear stories. "Nana Beth, tell me that aligator story again" begs Aiden for the twentieth time.

Sky celebrating her 2nd birthday with the Weymer sisters....this was the THIRD time she got to blow out candles and celebrate her birthday.

It was a good thing Fireman Aiden was there to put out the fire.

That's him holding a burnt out match.

Yeah, she had everyone's attention at her birthday party.

Daddy putting on Sky's new robe...a gift from Aunt Merilyn.

Aiden helping his Daddy put together his new Aderondak chair...a gift from Aunt Jeanne. Sky got a matching one...lucky little dudes.

Aiden discovers silly string...silly string was invented for kids like Aiden.

Could silly sting be any cooler?

Aiden has found his new favorite party favor.

Aiden and Sky putting together their new Aderondak chairs with Daddy...first thing in the morning. Aiden had gone to bed the night before with the promise that he'd get to help put together his chair with Daddy.

cookie monster

You ain't heard nothin' until you've heard Sky say "cookie monster" in a deep voice. She tries to to make her voice sound deep and more monster-like.
